Get to Where You Want to Go by First Believing You Can

There’s a big dream bubbling inside you. Are you afraid to act on it?

Many of us disregard our wildest dreams because we don’t know how to get where we want to go. So, we let others live the lives we truly want while we sit back, feeling somehow less deserving than them.

That is no way to live – you have to change your mindset!

The first step to achieving your dreams is believing they are possible and you are capable of bringing them to fruition.

This tends to be the most challenging part, even more so than actually doing the work because it forces you to confront your limiting beliefs.

You must realize you are worthy and fully capable of achieving what you set out to achieve.

Journal it, say it to yourself every morning and night, repeat it as many times as you need to believe it. Remember, no one person is more worthy of receiving goodness than another. We certainly don’t have the power to decide that, anyway.

Once you have the right mindset, the secret to getting where you want to go is simply deciding you would rather be there than here.

You don’t have to have a full-on action plan right away. Once you can visualize who you want to be, where you want to be, how you want to be, and understand the “why” behind your goals, you’ll get there.

Slowly but surely, the first step will come to you, and then the next, until you build a bridge that brings you to the big picture.

You’ll encounter deterrents along the way, no matter the life path you choose. These roadblocks provide essential learning opportunities. So, you might as well choose the path you actually want to be on.

Prioritize the time to get quiet and listen to the universe as it guides you. Meditation and journaling are two essential tools to bring you clarity. A solid morning routine will also help you stay on track.

Above all, you must not let self-doubt, negative thinking, and self-sabotaging behaviors hold you back from becoming the person you desire to be (because they will hold you back if you let them).

Trust in the universe, believe in yourself, and listen to your intuition. You will never escape where you are until you accept that limitations exist only in the mind.
